Your Health Is Your Wealth

About Us

Hi, my name is Tarek. Allow me to share a bit about myself with you.

I graduated from Macquarie University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, majoring in anatomy, physiology and chiropractic technique. In 2006, I completed my Masters of Chiropractic degree again at Macquarie University. It is paramount I stay up to date with the latest research and techniques, therefore I have under taken numerous seminars in sports medicine, dry needling, rehabilitation and paediatrics. In 2010 I completed a year long certificate in Chiropractic Paediatrics and in 2018 I complete a 2 year intense Diplomate in Chiropractic Paediatrics.

Treating paediatrics is a passion of mine and seeing the amazing results is what continually drives me to come work each and every single day.

I have been privileged to work alongside and learn from some of Australia’s finest Chiropractors. In addition, I have been fortunate to work alongside many medical doctors and specialists. The wealth of information I have absorbed has allowed me to provide exceptional care for my patients. During my student years, I worked as a chiropractic assistant for the NBL Western Razorbacks Basketball team. This gave me a great insight into professional sports chiropractic as well as invaluable experience which helped shape me up for the person I am today.

I have also been very fortunate to meet and treat elite sports people and movie stars. Among the many famous people I have treated include NSW Origin and Canterbury legend Trent Hodkinson as well as movie personality from Winners and Losers and All Saints Virginia Gay

Away from caring for patients, you’ll find me spending time with my lovely wife and three children. I also enjoy cycling, playing golf, oztag and attending regular seminars.

I am also pleased to have been Secretary for the Australian Lebanese Medical Association, Fouunder and President of the Tumut Cycle Classic, President of the Sydney Muslim Cyclists and inaugural President of the Malek Fahd Islamic School Alumni.

Dr Rania Muhiddine

Growing up, I was an active child, playing tennis in the summer and soccer in the winter. As great as it was, it resulted in serious aches and pains, particularly affecting my neck and my lower back. It was then I visited the local chiropractor. He diagnosed me and adjusted my spine. I was also taught to correct my postural misalignments in order to reduce stress being placed on the spinal bones and nervous system. From then on, my pain significantly reduced and my sporting performance improved dramatically.

I graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, majoring in Anatomy and Physiology, and a postgraduate degree as a Master of Chiropractic. I have experience working in multi-disciplinary clinics along side chiropractors, physiotherapists and remedial massage therapists, and have a keen interest in Women’s Health/Pregnancy, pediatrics and general family wellness care. My focus is to help people achieve optimal health and maintain a high quality of life by way of a healthy spine and nervous system. I believe in an integrated treatment approach which includes active rehabilitation to promote biomechanical correction and preventative care.

On a personal note, I am happily married and enjoy staying active. I also enjoy going to the gym, playing tennis/soccer and spending time with family and friends.

A little bit about our popular Dr Clara Loh who has joined our team of Chiropractors, Dietition, Podiatrist and massage therapist over a year ago.

My name is Dr Clara Loh.

My background is Malaysian Chinese and I first knew about Chiropractic when my mum hurt herself doing line dancing many many years ago. The specialist then said surgery was the only answer for her, but I drove her diligently to see a chiropractor for 3 months. He helped correct her spinal misalignment and kept her away from surgery. And thank God till this day she’s is free of back pain.

This lead me to pursue this career in Macquarie University where I obtained my Bachelors of Chiropractic Science and then my Masters of Chiropractic degree.

I am also a mum of 3 beautiful children so I have a very keen interest in chiropractic care during pregnancy and chiropractic care for children.

I have pursued further studies in chiropractic care during pregnancy and for babies with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and am certified Webster technique practitioner.

I’m looking forward to sharing my passion with you and your family.

Please welcome our popular Podiatrist Dr Mohamed Kojok alongside our team of Chiropractors, Dietitian and deep tissue remedial massage.

My name is Mohamed Kojok.

I grew up in Sydney always wanting to enjoy a career in health. I always felt that when people experience injuries, trauma or events that slow down everyday activities it can cause some unwanted stresses. My passion is to be able to work along patients and the team we have at “The Back Specialist Health Clinic” to return and improve a patients quality of life. I understand that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I have been trained in adapting to different situations and environments around the patients everyday life. Prior to podiatry, I completed a diploma in remedial massage therapy which, I have felt has helped me understand how treating the body as a whole would be ideal. I have a deep interest in biomechanics, gait analysis, treating diabetics and enjoy helping all age groups in achieving healthier feet, lower limbs and lives in general. I hope and look forward to helping the community with innovative and evidence based podiatric care.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
