We will ask you to fill out some paperwork about yourself and the condition you’re presenting with.

History

The Chiropractor will sit with you and ask you specific question relating to your condition(s). They may also ask you about any relevant past history and gather some of your medical history as it may relate to your current condition. All information is relevant and you may ask questions at any time through this process.

Examination

A comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, postural assessment, range of movement, muscle strength testing, spinal motion palpation, and a range of specialised orthopaedic and neurological tests will be conducted. This enables us to determine where your problem is and what structures are involved (the problem is not always at the site of pain.

Following this, if indicated, you will be referred for a spinal x-ray. Spinal x-rays allow us to completely analyse your spinal characteristics, help us to rule out more serious conditions and assist us in the development of the most effective care plan for you.
